Born in the late 1920's Connie can be considered the first female adventure hero in American comics.
She started as a flighty young woman, to become later a full-time adventure heroine, sorta Brick Bradford.
To honor the huge talent of Frank Godwin (1889-1959), Connie's creator, I picked this Sunday published in 1932.
We see very little action, still it's enough to demonstrate his skill.
I intend to post some more stuff from these masters of Brush and Pen -names like Charles Dana Gibson, James Montgomery Flagg: their works are too good to be overlooked.
